Imagined book covers using some fast portraits I drew during the weekly ‘Drawing Is Free’ live sessions. Each portrait is drawn in 3-5 mins, as long as a music track lasts. Artists each take turns to pose. Hosted by Chloe Briggs in Paris.
Today is Tuesday – These 3 risograph zines illustrate a long, newsy haiku poem my Mum sent to a friend who was in hospital way back in 1992 to keep her up to date with village news! It portrays a day in the life of my Mum, in all its mundane, beautiful, busy detail. I illustrated a verse a day for the #3materials daily illustration challenge, then developed them into a set of riso zines. Here are a few of the pages. It was lovely to collaborate with my Mum.
